Teaching
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work". [2 Timothy 3:16]
At Lighthouse Community Church we value the public teaching and preaching of the Word of God or the Holy Bible. We believe that the Bible is God's divine word and is the only absolute truth. We also believe that Scripture is all-sufficient to bring guidance, direction, instruction, encouragement and wholeness to the Christian faith. We hold this is a fundamental part of what we do as Church. We also seek to make the teaching of the Word accessible and easy to understand through effective teaching, creative communication and open atmospheres for questioning and engaging.
We engage with teaching the Word on several levels: at Sunday gatherings, in our CONNECT groups and in other settings such as discussion groups and Bible studies.
